One of my first interesting read was a blog from Carla Marschall on SharingPYP Blog: Making the PYP evaluation process meaningful.
Reading it (and the comments) made me realize that the Evaluation was not the job of only the PYP coordinator but that it was the responsibility of the whole school community, and that my job as a coordinator was to help teachers and other members of the community to reflect on their teaching and learning through the Evaluation process.
Reading the article, it appeared to me that a good strategy would be to put teachers in small groups (by grade maybe) and assign them 2 or 3 practices to inquire into. We could then gather and meet in bigger groups to discuss the evidences found and action to be taken identified by each smaller group.
In this blog category, I will try to keep track of our Evaluation, as a way to organize my thoughts, document our journey, and in the hope of helping new coordinators and teachers in their own PYP journey.
