Today we had our very first meeting regarding the PYP Evaluation with our teaching staff.
I made a quick slide to introduce the Evaluation process and what the teachers will have to do during self-study period. And as a bonus, I used the key concepts to plan the slide, as some new teachers were here and it was a opportunity to review them.
In this meeting, I quickly spoke about who will be involved and what everyone may have to do, the reason why we are having this Evaluation, the process of the self-study, and how it will benefit the school and the teaching staff.
Below is the slide I made. It was a very quick meeting (about 30min), so not much information was passed.
The next step will be for me to contact the leadership team, notably the school principal, to organize a meeting to further plan the self-study and if possible start working on Section A and B with them, but with the recent pandemic situation, I am now thinking of a way to do it without meeting physically. Maybe a simple shared doc file where everybody can input his/her opinion might be a good start.
